I currently use regular lacquer and tell clients to clean with dish soap and water.
This is probably dumb, but since if I switch to em6000 water-based lacquer how do clients maintain it? If I am to clean my sprayer with soap and water will soap and water remove the finish? Or once it cures is it fine? Basically what is the best way to clean furniture protected by water-based lacquer?
Once cured the lacquer is ok. However it is best to avoid any chemincal produits.
The best would be to use warm water and a neutral soap like a Liquid Black Soap. By using this type of soap you and your customers should not have any issues.
Honestly I believe it's a great product as it can be used for SO many things!
Thank you for the quick response, what is the recommended cure time? I read the datasheet and it said 120 hours between 60 and 80 degrees. Is that what I should be basing it on? How will colder temps affect it?
