How to polish a surface finished with epoxy or lacquer?

To polish a finished surface in epoxy or lacquer, it is recommended to have different grits of wet sandpaper, a sanding block, and tap water. Once you have all the necessary materials, you can start wet sanding by wetting a small area with water and sanding it with the appropriate grit of sandpaper. It is recommended to start with a 500 grit and continue with 800, 1000, 2000, and 3000 grits to remove all traces of the sandpaper used.

If the surface to be polished is large, you can use an orbital sander for sanding. After sanding, you can move on to the polishing stage by using a polishing agent with a polisher or sander equipped with a lambswool pad. Apply a few drops of the polishing agent and slowly polish the surface. For small surfaces, you can do each step manually.
